A century-old recipe from the Convent of Jesus in Aveiro, based on the same Ovos Moles mass used in Ovos Moles de Aveiro. The name of the Castanhas de Ovos comes from the richness of chestnut trees that the region of Aveiro has, especially  on the banks of the River Vouga.


Product obtained by joining egg yolk to a syrup of sugar, following the traditional way of cooking.
