Following the original recipe for over 70 years, the Cavacas, from Pombal, are a derivation of the Cavacas from Caldas da Rainha. This regional speciality is a dry and light cake, partially wrapped in white vanilla flavoured frosting, in a circular form, with an original recipe, without the addition of colouring or preservatives, kept in secret.
